Shartification Timeline
This is the uncut history of our Shartification™ madness a saga of code chaos and constant jabs. Every single detail is here exactly as it happened.
1. The Rise of vlOd and Code Laundering (2024)
In 2024 vlOd began by aggressively porting Minecraft from Java to C# using raw determination. Not content with a simple port he started what we now call vlOdification or Shartification™ a process of restructuring (laundering) and even port decompiled Minecraft code. To rally the crew he created the vlOdification Station Discord server which was branched off from Omniarchive for the Shartification™ group that was part development zone part ideology center. Out of the Shartification™ chaos came projects such as Shartcraft and Dotcraft and even the phrase ChatGPT laundering appeared when people began using AI to refactor our code.
2. Anti Steve Policies and the SteveGPT Saga
It did not take long for me STEVE2024 to become the subject of quiet targeting. The community introduced anti Steve policies with tactics such as feature cycling simply to annoy me. My 2011 iMac running Windows XP was mockingly dubbed the ChatGPT Workstation and shady role shuffles were common. Soon people started calling me SteveGPT because vlOd said so. This sparked an internal joke called the Steve Containment Policies.
3. The Birth of Yap Presidency (Late 2024 Early 2025)
During voice calls, both me and icanttellyou (icty) would stay muted for a long time. Then out of nowhere, one of us would just unmute and start yapping about something random. That’s when vlOd started calling us the Yap Presidents. Not because we talked a lot, but because we didn’t say anything for hours, then suddenly started rambling. Yap Syndrome just meant you were muted all the time but when you finally spoke, it was something weird or cursed. It wasn’t a title, just a thing people said.
4. The Collapse of vlOdification Station (Early 2025)
Then out of nowhere, vlOd just disappeared with no explanation and blocked almost everyone. Only maxxx and some random :3 were still unblocked. Projects like Dotcraft just vanished unless someone had backups on their drive. The builds channel wasn’t even there anymore since it got wiped when vlOd nuked vlOdification Station. No final message, nothing. That was the end of the vlOd era.
5. The Post Collapse Yap Era (Mid 2025)
After the server collapsed everything just kinda stopped. Then vlOd disappeared too. All the lore ended up on Omniarchive and that was the only place anything survived. The Shartification™ group was the only thing left. People still drop old screenshots cursed commits and random quotes. Some still blame SteveGPT for the collapse. DanilWaffle kept showing up fixing stuff that didn’t need fixing and sending roach emojis like nothing happened.
